December 2023 Update

Hello everyone, I have ended up writing this blog a little later than usual, but am excited to share an update with you all! Thank you again for your prayers over our ministry. We are so blessed to have prayer over the work we are doing. We have been rooted in the steadfastness of God's character and are thankful for the life we get to live with Him in our presence.
An update I am blessed to share is that I had my first opportunity to preach a sermon at church. God has been revealing to me all the small ways He has shown me this gifting over time. That in the patient waiting God has cultivated my heart to be submissive to Him in the stewardship of this gift. I am honored to be able to preach about Jesus Christ. To speak of the Gospel and God's truths.

Our new year is kicking off with the youth group. We are continuing to go through the book of Romans, a beautiful depiction of the Gospel. In choosing Romans, we are hoping to engage youth in God's Word. That they become comfortable in seeking the Scriptures, being encouraged by what is living and active. God's Word is for our growth and our good. We ought to desire to follow in the commands and wisdom of Scripture.
Please continue to pray for our youth as we shepherd them in their Spiritual growth. We have gained five new friends in the group since we arrived, and we pray for God's will to be done through all that come in contact with the Spirit of God. Please pray for the salvation of those who have yet to know Jesus. Please pray for passion and humility for those walking with God.
The big part of December was our Christmas party! Our pastor's family hosted the event and we had a great time all together. I am continually encouraged by the youth. It has been a blessing to see the youth grow and to see their desire to follow Jesus.

As I write blogs, I am continually reminded of you all in my prayers and where God has placed each of you. May you continue to see Him in each moment. May you be reminded of His beauty in places of hardship and waiting. That His promises stand true even when are circumstances tell us otherwise. He is faithful. He is good. May we continue to serve our King until our final breath.
